James Blunt Cover’s Katy Perry’s “California Gurls”
The thing about James Blunt’s voice is that he sings the way I imagine a young Herbert from Family Guy might sound. This could be his voice before the whistle got quite so pronounced, when it was marginally less creepy that he was trying lead 13-year-olds into a comfortable den of geriatric perversion. Now that James Blunt has covered “California Gurls” for AOL Music, all I can imagine is Herbert singing this song about himself.
His sun-kissed skin’s so hot, he’ll melt our popsicles…
Thanks for nothing, James Blunt. I’m ready to call Child Protective Services for my own sake.
