James Franco To Teach Class On How To Be James Franco
I’ve often tried to figure out how James Franco juggles the 87 professional obligations he seems to have, on top of getting about 37 degrees. Now it seems that Columbia College Hollywood will partner with Franco to offer a course studying the details of his career.
From The Hollywood Reporter:
The course, called “Master Class: Editing James Franco … With James Franco,” will be taught by Franco’s editor Tyler Danna, according to Movieline. The actor, who will co-host the Academy Awards on Feb. 27 with Anne Hathaway, will talk to students through Skype and attend weekly sessions, depending on his schedule.
On the one hand, this is yet another way Franco has shown up everyone in the United States. On the other hand, if he insists on being some kind of superhuman combination of smarts, charm, talent, and work ethic, then he might as well pay it forward. Though, for those who take the class, they need to come up with a better final project than a 30-minute ode to a guy who loves Japanese body pillows. Even I’ve already cut together two of those in my spare time.
