What is it about montages that makes them simultaneously hopeful and completely depressing all at once? Or have I been brainwashed by years of cinematic emotional manipulation?

Best New TV Show of 2011: 4th and Forever
I know this is the time for Top 10 in 2010 lists; I’ll come back to that. Right now I’m already looking ahead to what’s coming for next year. Friday Night Lights is going off the air, but there’s a show that’s ready to both fill that void as the NBC show winds down and take it a step further — “4th and Forever.”

Inception in Real-Time
Obviously November was a black hole of time-consuming fail (for this site. For my other work, it was extremely productive). Since Inception is on DVD & Blu-Ray today, I figured it was only fair to embed the real-time version of the dream levels an editor posted to YouTube.
